Bucknell University offers many opportunities for students to get involved in digital scholarship. Your first resources are your faculty instructors in all fields so please ask them for opportunities to become involved in digital scholarship.
The Library and Information Technology division at Bucknell University supports students who want to work on digital scholarship through both funding and instruction in digital scholarship methods.
We offer a summer research fellowship for students called the Digital Scholarship Summer Research Fellowship. Applications usually open in the spring semester and give students an opportunity to propose their own projects and receive technical support throughout the summer while working on those projects.
L&IT also supports a summer research program (SRP) to which faculty can apply in order to fund a student during the summer to work with the faculty member on a digital scholarship project. These projects also receive technical support from L&IT staff.
There are also multiple spaces on campus to support your work in digital scholarship. You can find more information on our DP&S Spaces on Campus page.
